The flagship opening exhibition at St Albans Museum + Gallery. Taking pride of place in the new Weston Gallery, the exhibition charts the development of printing techniques, technologies, and typographic design through the centuries. St Albans has a long printmaking history, from being home to the third printing press in the UK in 1479, printing textbooks for Cambridge University, to providing London Transport with its iconic posters in the 20th century.
